For residents
Is Hometown Pros free for residents?
Yes. Residents can browse listings and contact businesses directly without creating an account or paying Hometown Pros.
Does a listing mean the company is endorsed?
No. Inclusion is informational. Before hiring, confirm pricing, availability, licensing, insurance, references, and the exact scope of work directly with the company.
Why does a business not appear for my community?
The directory only displays service areas that have been identified so far. Companies sometimes travel beyond their published area, so the directory may suggest nearby businesses that you can call to confirm.
For businesses
How are businesses added?
Standard listings are compiled from public company websites, chambers of commerce, government resources, and established business directories. Businesses may also apply to be added.
What does Featured mean?
Featured is promotional placement. Featured businesses appear before standard listings and may provide or approve expanded company details, logos, contact options, and project photos. It is not a guarantee or endorsement.
Compare Basic and FeaturedHow can incorrect information be fixed?
A business owner or authorized representative can use the listing-request form. Hometown Pros reviews requests and may verify them against public information before making a change.

Hometown Pros is not a government agency, chamber of commerce, or contractor referral service.
Clear about our sources.
